Stolen Land Rover Defender - Recovered

This beautiful Land Rover Defender was stolen from the Bawtry area just after 2:30pm today. 

The owner immediately reported the theft, giving us every opportunity to locate the vehicle. The importance of early reporting really does increase our chances of finding stolen vehicles. 

Approximately 40 minutes later the vehicle was located in the East area of Doncaster. The Offenders had clearly spent time looking for a tracker and decided to leave the vehicle in a discreet spot. With the help of Tracking information and some local Officer knowledge, we were soon taking possession of the vehicle.

The vehicle has now been recovered for a forensic examination to identify those responsible. Once complete the Land Rover will then be returned to a very grateful owner.
